There is a baby name website on which people with the actual names on the website comment about their experiences with the names. I think it's in a section about bullying. I've looked and looked and cannot find it. Does anyone know it? Thanks! What is the baby name website where people w/ each of the names comment on their experiences with their names?
I think you're looking for this one: http://babynamesworld.parentsconnect.com…
Edit: No problem...it was my favourite! I spent hours looking names up there lol....and probably will when I have any more children!
In BabyNameWizard's Namipedia, people comment on teasing and nicknames.

What are some nice, unique baby names for both a boy and a girl?
My husband and I are trying to have a baby, and we keep talking about baby names. We can not agree on one single name. I like newer more original names and he likes all different types of names except the ones I like. Can you please help me pick out a name. The name i like the most gets 10 points. Thanks! What are some nice, unique baby names for both a boy and a girl?
i always liked gianpaolo....or pablo for a guy......serena....karen for a girl.....bruno...vito....
you should try babyname websites....
http://www.babynamesworld.com/
for example....has names...meanings....and where they come from
my name is jared and i like that.....i like ricardo as well (i'm not hispanc)....also luigi....bianca is a personal favorite.....
also original spellings of names can be just as good as an original name....say aleksandr instead of alexander....or andrei instead of andre....or andriy....
good luck...and i know you won't like this name...but for comedy sake i saw a guy named "burgermeister"
my son is called levi ! i like skyler for a girl aswell! What are some nice, unique baby names for both a boy and a girl?
boy.reece or preston.girl.imogen or ameliaWhat are some nice, unique baby names for both a boy and a girl?
Our daughters name is Olivia. If we were to ever have a boy he would be Alexander. Not sure what another girl would be.
Brynne is a pretty name for a girl. I had 2 boys, but I wanted a girl to use that name!
For boys, I like:
Thomas Josiah
Josiah Thomas
For girls, I like:
Aubrey Aundrea
Margaret Rose (not as unique, but I think it's really pretty)
I like for a boy, Justice, Cimmaron, Drew, and Daniel
For a girl, Shyann, Shiloh which I chose way before you know who, Danielle, and Jesse.

Boy= Oscar (i love that name)
Girl= lluvia (means rain in spanish I love it, the first three letters sound like the word Jew "LLU" and VIA sounds just like pronouncing "via" in english)
I think a good first name is paired well with the Surname. They should not be too similar, but should share elements. For example the first name can have two syllables with two similar vowel sounds, and the Surname can have two syllables and two vowel sounds different from the first but matching eachother... Such as Adam Kenwell.
Or if the Surname is short, it can appear to be derived from the first... Best example of that might be Calvin Klien.. Phonetically the Surname is nearly an abreviation of the first.
So, since I don't know the surname I haven't a clue for you, but here is another thought. Include 'worth' in the first name to give them high self-esteem and confidence. Examples are, Ticklesworth, Picklesworth, Snugglesworth, and Gigglesworth.
hee hee :P Very respectable names.
Julia or Lyric for a girl? William or West for a boy?
Seriously, West is a cool name for a boy :D

Noah and Gabriella "Ella" are my (future) kids names...lol
Kayla is a pretty name for a girl..... or Angelina......, Amaya...,

What do you think of these celebrity baby names?
Moon Unit - This peculiar baby girl name comes to us thanks to Frank and Gail Zappa. If the Zappa's were looking for publicity with this name, they have certainly received more than their fair share. Many countries would include this name on their list of illegal baby names!
Fifi Trixibelle - The first name Fifi is bad, but paired with Trixibelle makes it even worse. Paula Yates and Bob Geldof should have known better.
Satchel - This name was chosen by Mia Farrow and Woody Allen for their one biological son. It doesn't seem so odd to those baby namers in the states, as one of baseball's best pitchers of all time was named Satchel.
Apple - Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin chose the name Apple for their little girl and the world will never be the same. Yikes.
Daisy Boo - Jamie Oliver, also known as The Naked Chef, and his wife Julia should stick to cooking. These two names together leave much to be desired. What do you think of these celebrity baby names?
With the exception of Nell Marmalade - all awful!
You aren't really called Flower Island are you? If so, who are your celebrity parents?
I like Peaches, River and Maddox. I've never been keen on double names but it makes it even worse when they are just plain silly.
Are they all in a name competition with each other. What do you think of these celebrity baby names?
ridiculous names, they should think more rationally and name their children carefully. it looks like they're naming their children like this in order to get more fame I suppose... but whatever. I would be ashamed if my name was Fifi or Boo or something; it sounds like a pet's name. I like coco though, but romeo sounds like a loverboy. What do you think of these celebrity baby names?
i dont see why they feel they have to call their children these horrible names. i wouldnt want to be one
this is sortof a long question
Feel sorry for them when thay grow up , wasnt there a model who called her son minger .
what about diva muffin zappa?
Was Coco named after Coco the clown or Coco Chanel.
Sorry but I don't know if it is a boy or a girl.
I only really like maddox, i love that name and river is alright
this is question and answers and you have written an essay .to long to answer
I loved River Phoenix, Apple? hmmm Daisy Boo, well she will only be called Daisy really. Fifi should have been left to their dog, and Frank Zappa hey it was the wild 70's what can I say
i hate them all except river. what were they all think of? perhaps they were on too many drugs at the time. poor kids
I think they all suck, and I can only hope you're posting this because you're thinking of nice traditional names for your offspring such as James and Mary.
Here in rainy old UK we can report that Chelsea has just about taken off but not Brick Lane, Neasden or Hartlepool.
Neither Orange nor Blackberry, (as far as I know).
Best Wishes,
Non-celeb

Your forgetting Jordans new baby...Princess Tiaamii. OMG lol. i duno if its just me but i think tiger lily is a cute name!! but apple? no way
x
i think there cool because there not that common
I think the Beckhams have the best kids names. Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz.
I love River Phoenix. It goes really well together. I love finding out who's going to name their baby what. I can't believe what Katie Price aka Jordan, and Peter Andre called their daughter...Princess Tiammi or something... what drugs is she on?
It was Mel B from the spice girls, not Mel C.
They are all cute hehe :D
I think people should consider the child as he/she grows older and is subject to teasing about how unusual their name is.
they are all pretty much weird except for maybe: Nell, Maddox and Brooklyn.
I myself feel sorry for the kids.
All quite ridiculous, Although you forgot Geri Halliwell gave her daughter the middle name Bluebell.
Daft and pretentious. Many of them are so illiterate they don't know what some of the names mean and their connotations. Fancy naming your child after a place and a bridge! Wouldn't be surprised if one of these air-heads named their child 'Cocaine' or 'Heroine'. After all, one famous drinks manufacturer named its drink after a stimulant snorted by celebs.
I think they are all really strange but some of them are quite nice. I like Brooklyn, Romeo, Apple, Daisy, Coco, Tallulah (Jessie wallaces baby)
I like mel b's Pheonix Chi, its really nice.
As for moon unit... what the hell!! And the other one is Diva Muffin. I dont get it.
You can get unique but i think moon unit is like calling ur child Kitchen Surface. So silly.
xx :-) xx
I don't really like most of those names. But I think Maddox, Eugenie, River and Romeo are OK.
It's not the childrens' fault is it?
with the exception of Maddox, it's a damn good thing the dopey parents will have enough money for those psyc bills! AMEN!
We call our daughter Boo, but it is not her given name! Wouldn't do that to her! I have a great great great etc uncle called River and he was born in1863! (Mancunians eh!)
Sorry, but Fifi Trixibelle is just freakin cute! Not that I would name my child that (my husband wouldn't let me).
I have also heard of Moxie Crimefighter, which is one of my favorite celebrity baby names.
I think theyre sooo stupid. I'm all for having unique names and trying something new, but this is goin a bit far dont ya think? But if they really want to have a stupid name then it's up to them.
Very weird especially Daisy Boo and moon unit
However, i like Romeo .

What are your opinions on these baby names?
Please rate and comment on the following. 10 pts to most thorough
The following i feel are all great male names obviously older male names...but i never see them mentioned on here as possible baby name suggestions. What are your opinions on the following male baby names?
1. Timothy
2. Garett
3. Franklin
4. Frederick
5. Gary
6. Darrell
7. Douglas
8. Lonnie
9. Norman
10. Terry
11. Jerry
12. Craig
13. Chad
14. Philip
15. Kevin
16. Keith
*****Sorry for the long list was just thinking of some. What are your opinions on these baby names?
1. Timothy 6 It is a good, Biblical name which has been around forever. However, I have never ben drawn to it. I just do not find it very masculine. I think the Tim and Timmie association has caused that. However, I knew a Timothy who was a sweet guy. It just does not appeal to me. No offense meant. Many will love it
2. Garett 8/10 Masculine, strong and powerful. It is a name with presence and would work fantastically on an adult .
3. Franklin This is one of those names where it is person's association. I associate it with people who are more around the ages of 60 or 80.So, it doesn't sound youthful to me. The name will always be around and accepted, though. Also, I have never been a fan of Frank sounds 6/10
4. Frederick 5 This is my personal experience, so I am biased, I knew one and he was full of kak. The Fred names have always been names that I have neither hated not have I been drawn to. However, it can be be perceived as regal and a timeless classic
5. Gary 6 There is absolutely nothing wrong with it. This is all just personal taste
6. Darrell 6 Nothing wrong with it.Just personal taste. I don't associate it with the same crowd of people that I hang out with, so it is not my style
7. Douglas It is one of those names that will be around forever. All prefernce again. I think it is one of those names that could be perceived as old, because of the average of the people they meet. For instance, someone might not want to use the name Mark, because they associate it with the 60s as that was when it peaked
8. Lonnie I honestly don't mean this disrespectfully, but the first thing I think of when I hear it is the American 'south'. There is nothing wrong with that at all. I think it is just one of those names that it's time has passed or it is viewed as dated and their are now more 'now' names
9. Norman Personal taste again. I think it is a name that by association, is not viewed as 'hip'.I think names go through periods and revivals.
10. Terry 7/10 Nothing wrong with it.Is a good, strong name.Ages well and sounds good.Easy to say and spell.Possible dislikes are because of it being unisex
11. Jerry 61/2 Same as above. Just personal taste. It doesn't appeal to me, but I do not dislike it
12. Craig 7/10 Is a good name.I would prob like it if it was not for someone I knew with it.
13. Chad 8/10 lol I was in love with this when I was 8! I wanted a little Chad.I used to have a baby doll toy that had a green onesie on it and the name Chad was sewn on.It is a good name which I sort of like and I could grow to like it again.Slightly preppy sounding for me
14. Philip 7/10 Based on how well it works and sounds. However, it might be considered a bit dated ot more the age of the parent's of the people who have kids, and so they might want something a little more hip. However, it is a classic which will alway be loved and admired.
15. Kevin I think the common perception is that is 'dated' However, I am too biased.I knew one who was HORRIBLE. A real dastard
16. Keith Nothing wrong with it at all. 71/2
Ones I like:Chad and Garett. It could be that names go through trends or highs and lows, and maybe these names have already gone through them, which is why they are not as highly mentioned
Hope this helps
1. Timothy- Love this name, I know a lot of handsome guys wtih this name, one who was an extra in Pirates of the Carribean! He's a totallll player though most tim's i know are
2. Garett- GORGEOUS celeb with this name garrett hedlund (look him up its worth it), anyway I love this name its handsome.
3. Franklin- A little too dated for me but would use it for a middle name

5. Gary- haha its cute but wouldnt use it. Its a good nickname for Garrett
6. Darrell- yuckkk not a fan sorry...
7. Douglas- I know so many d-bags with this name that its made me hate it
8. Lonnie- HAHA its funny...wouldnt use it
9. Norman- LOL i dont know why this ones funny too its just too old
10. Terry- Not really a fan sorry
11. Jerry- Cute, I like this one a lot

The following i feel are all great male names obviously older male names...but i never see them mentioned on here as possible baby name suggestions. What are your opinions on the following male baby names?

5. Gary
6. Darrell
7. Douglas

What do you think of these baby names?
Well i'm not having a baby, i'm far too young. I was just wondering your opinion on these baby names.
Girls
Gigi Belle
Zaarah
Mia-Rose
Vivienne
Boys
Hayden
Ruiz
Tr茅zois (Pronounced treh-zo)
Francois Gerrard (Pronounced france-wa)
What do you think of these baby names?
Ace!
I love them all :D apart from Francois Gerrard, it SCREAMS footballing idiot!
But the rest are goreous, i'm actually gonna add Trezois to my list because i've never heard that before and its really smart! :D
%26lt;3 vivienne and zaarah!
Gigi Belle - I think Gigi should be kept as a nickname, because I can't see a top lawyer or doctor or businesswoman names 'Gigi'. I think Georgia or Georgina should be her first names and Gigi should be kept for home use. Belle is a cute middle name.
Zaarah - Is spelt horribly! Either Zarra or Zara.
Mia-Rose - Is cute but personally I hate double barrelled names and I think it should be Mia Rose.
Vivienne - Is too old fashioned, maybe Angelina Jolie can get away with calling her child that but honestly, no one else can.
Hayden - Is nice.
Ruiz - I don't think is even a name, if I have trouble pronouncing it, then so is everyone else your child comes across.
Tr茅zois - Is horrible
Francois Gerrard - Is nice but if your not french don't call your child this.
Good luck!
P.S. I know you like different names but taking a common name and changing the spelling doesn't make it unique or different, for example 'Zaarah'.What do you think of these baby names?
Gigi Belle is OK if the child stays a child forever, which just isn't going to happen. Zaarah is exactly like Sarah, so it's too common. Just because it's spelt different doesn't mean it's going to sound different. I love Mia-Rose, it's great for a child and adult. Vivienne is OK, but it's got to have a good middle name to make it work for me.
I like Hayden, especially for boys. Ruiz is alright. Trezois and Francois just sound too French and if you're not French it just doesn't work. What do you think of these baby names?
I like Trezois and Vivienne
Vivianna is a nice variation too.
I like Zaarah, but spelt Zara
Mia-Rose is lovely.
I also like Hayden
x
i don't like any of the girl names
hayden is a good boy name but that is the only one.
vivienne for a girl
hayden for a boy
I like Mia-Rose, and Hayden.
Gigi makes me think of the show g-spot.
Vivian is the only one i like i'm afraid
Sorry but I do not like any of these. Buy a baby name book and start over.
I like Mia Rose and Hayden.
Mia-rose is cute thats the only one though...sorry.

What do you think of the following baby names? Which one is your favorite? How about a least favorite?
My husband and I have made a list of possible baby names but I wanted some other opinions. I have a tendency to think really obscure baby names are wonderful but what does everyone else think? It'd be great if you could rank them too. Or at least tell me which one you like best and which one you don't like at all. Thanks beforehand!
- Samuel Oliver Jones
- Muriel Mae Jones
- Bentley Miles Jones
- Adia Leigh Jones
- Langley Oliver Jones
- Oriana Willow Jones
- Addison Taylor Jones
- Finlee Mae JonesWhat do you think of the following baby names? Which one is your favorite? How about a least favorite?
Best girl - Willow Addison Jones
Best boy - Samuel Oliver Jones
Worst girl - Muriel Mae Jones
Worst boy - Bentley Miles Jones
:-)
Samuel Oliver - This is really nice and classic, I love it.
Muriel Mae - I really like Mae, but not Muriel.
Bentley Miles - I like it! Miles Bentley would also be nice.
Adia Leigh - I don't like this one.
Langley Oliver - I love Oliver, don't like Langley. Oliver Langley instead?
Oriana Willow - Willow is really nice, but personally I prefer Ariana.
Addison Taylor - I love Addison for a boy, but I don't like Taylor.
Finlee Mae - I'd class Finlay as a boy's name, and I don't like the spelling. Mae is nice though.
My favourite is Samuel Oliver. Bentley Miles is nice as well, and a bit different. I don't know whether Addison is for a boy or girl? If it's for a boy I love it, but with a different middle name - Oliver or Miles? :)What do you think of the following baby names? Which one is your favorite? How about a least favorite?
- Samuel Oliver Jones - I LOVE Samuel AND Oliver, but not together. I especially love Samuel Parker!! or Oliver Heath!!
- Muriel Mae Jones - I highly dislike Muriel.. What about Miriam instead though? Miriam Mae is GORGEOUS!
- Bentley Miles Jones - I dont like Bentley that much, but Miles is cool. How bout Miles Alexander Jones? sounds better because the 's' at the end of Miles clashes with the 's' in Jones.
- Adia Leigh Jones - I like it a lot. I'd prefer Avia Leigh Jones (with the 'v',) but its very cute anyway.
- Langley Oliver Jones - Langley doesnt sound nice wen i say it. What about Lanley, or Landon? Once again, Oliver is great.
- Oriana Willow Jones - very unique, consider changing Willow to Wynter though. its just a nice name thats all.
- Addison Taylor Jones - I usually dont like the name Addison because of the 'Addy' nickname, but it sounds good with Taylor.
- Finlee Mae Jones - i hate the name Finlee. just because i know a finlee that i hate. lol.
hope i helped ;)

Why are baby names getting more ridiculous?
It seems to me that baby names are getting more and more far fetched and ridiculous. Does anyone else agree? I feel sorry for the kids when they grow up with the names some people come up with! Why are baby names getting more ridiculous?
as long as you can pronounce it,
upon seeing it written the first time , it's fine. :)
Probably because they're copying celebrities. But as cultures are so mixed and everyone travels, people hear names they like and want their child to be special and stand out and not have run-of-the-mill names, although it helps if they give a child a 'normal' middle name, so they can be choose that when they get older! Why are baby names getting more ridiculous?
The Name Lady has written extensively on teh subject -- people want names that are unique -- to make their child "stand out" and be distinctive in the marketplace of life
(see her story on babies named Abcde (yes, it is true!)
http://www.namecandy.com/name-lady/2009/鈥?/a>Why are baby names getting more ridiculous?
Yes, I agree to that. Sometimes I wonder where the hell they get those names!!!:-))) And some are really hard to spell and pronounce...Maybe they're just trying to get others attention with those names..
The baby's have the dogs names and the dogs have the Baby names.
I AGREE! like i dunno *Sorry Katie and Peter Andre* but Princess?
and a friend of the family named her baby girl Summer - Rosa ?
I agree. Especially it seems the ones which sound made up and all seem to start with 'K', e.g. Konan, Keenan, Kaysha etc etc etc
Those names just have Chav written all over them.
notice the lower i.q. patterneye makeup remover

Can anybody help me choose unique baby names for girls?
I want some cute baby girl names.I checked most websites for finding names, but I dont know what to choose.
So help me plzzzz plzzzzz
also I want other cute names to call my boyfriend. Can anybody help me choose unique baby names for girls?
Different spellings do not make it any more or less unique. It just makes the kid get tired of spelling their names.
Sairah is still pronounced the same as every other Sarah out there. She'll just have to repeatedly spell her name and get tired of having mail sent to a wrongly spelled name.
Sorry I haven't got any suggestions. I'm having trouble with girl names too. Our list is Devon, Carlie, Tesni and Zoe.
Well, if you want the name to be unique, I usually like a pretty name, not commonly used but still okay to fit in with, with a different spelling. Like Kimmy. Kimmy is a pretty name, but the "y" on the end is too...original. I change it by substituting it with an "ie", so it becomes Kimmie. The name is more unique and perhaps even prettier too. :)
Good luck, I wish you the best! :)Can anybody help me choose unique baby names for girls?

- most likely to have a Bachelor degree
- slightly below average income
Hope that helps.
Bahaha, I was going to make a Friends reference but everyone beat me to it! I love the names, but only because of the show. Outside of the show, I'm not big on Phoebe.

How would you spell these baby names?
I like to look at baby names and their different spellings. I have several in mind, and I want to know what you prefer and why.
Ann or Anne?
Stephen or Steven?
Keely or Keeley?
Elizabeth or Elisabeth?
Catherine or Katherine?
Sidney or Sydney?
Cassie or Kassie?
Zoë or Zoey?
Also, if you saw this name, how would you pronounce it: Bleddyn?|||Ann or Anne I dont really mind which between these too.
Stephen (steven seems like the lazy option to me)
Keeley and Keely are surnames where I live, I would never give someone a surname as their first name.
Elizabeth (I just prefer it)
Catherine (its the usual spelling where im from)
Sidney (Sydney is a place)
Cassie (again its how we would spell it in Ireland)
Zoey (just because Ive heard poepl pronounce Zoë as Zo with no ee at the end)
Bleddyn is pronounced Blethin (but people who arent familar with Welsh pronunciation would probably pronounce it bledin)|||Anne - (MY name) it looks incomplete without the E
Steven - Its pronounced the way it looks, no "ph" confusion!
Keely (but really, neither!) - the other has too many Es in close proximity
Elizabeth - Zs are cool
Katherine - just looks better with a K
Sidney - I don't like having 2 Ys in the same name!
Cassie - looks sweeter, like cassia (cinnamon)
Zoe - short and sweet (I like names that end in E)
Bleddyn - I would say "bled - din"|||Anne
Stephen
Keeley
Elizabeth
Catherine
Sidney
Cassie
Zoe.
Then again I like in a very-extremely-traditional-British part of Canada. So I'm more accustomed to their spellings of Stephen/Anne/Catherine/Elizabeth. It's just what 'm used to.
I like Sidney better because I hate the use of the letter 'y' as a subsititute for 'i's' or 'e's. I think it's so ugly (i.e. olivya, nataly, haydyn, etc etc etc).
I also don't like substituting the letter 'k' for 'c'. Which is why I like Cassie and Catherine over Kassie and Katerine.|||Anne (makes me think of Anne Frank- good thing)
Stephen
Keely (Keeley has too many e's)
Elisabeth (I don't like the 'z' in my name)
Catherine (I don't like k's)
Sydney (like the city - cool)
Cassie (look at Catherine)
Zoe (ooh I love the dots- think it's called a trema in French)
Bleddyn - I would pronounce it bled (past tense of "bleed")- din (like the beginning of "dinner") Accenting the beginning.
Hope this helps!|||Anne- The extra "e" just gives it that air of French-ish sophistication.
Steven- Because it's what people will assume, and if it's a v sound, it should be spelled with a v instead of something that makes an f sound.
Keely- 3 e's is a bit much.
Elizabeth- It's easier if she wants to go by Liz or Eliza.
Catherine- I don't know, I just like the way it looks.
Sydney- Looks nicer.
Cassie- The "normal" way, I guess.
Zoë- It's all about the umlaut... :P I don't know, I think the y cute until she gets past middle school.|||Ann or Anne? - Either - I prefer Anne.
Stephen or Steven? - Either I would use Steven.
Keely or Keeley? - Keely
Elizabeth or Elisabeth? Elizabeth
Catherine or Katherine? Either - I would choose K because that is how my relatives spelled it (Finnish, German).
Sidney or Sydney? Sidney if boy, Sydney if girl
Cassie or Kassie? Cassie
Zoë or Zoey? Zoe (no umlat required)
Bleddyn - I would pronounce it Bled-din. Not a name I would want.|||Ann or Anne? depends ex.. Ann Elizabeth- if the 1st/ middle name is long then use Ann since its really short....Bella Anne- if the 1st/middle names is short then use the more lengthy spelling.
Stephen or Steven?- Steven so its not pronounced Ste-f-n
Keely or Keeley? - i like Keiley or Keeylie b/c the "i" (this might sound dumb but..) she could do more fancier thing with it when she writes it.
Elizabeth or Elisabeth? Elizabeth... looks better/
Catherine or Katherine? Katherine- i like "K's" better! lol.
Sidney or Sydney? - Sydnie.. "Y" in the middle %26amp; "i" at the end make it more different %26amp; cute.
Cassie or Kassie? -Kassie- again w/ the "K's"
Zoë or Zoey? -Zoey no need to get all fancy %26amp; formal also Zoeiy is cute just for the "i" thing.
i pronounce it Bl-ed-n|||-i like Anne--i like the way it looks better..with the E
-Steven--it looks better and is pronounced this way.
-Keeley-looks "cleaner"
-Elizabeth--classic way of spelling it..and its Ah-liz-ah-beth not Ah-lis-ah-beth
-Katherine--i like the K better than the C
-Sydney--i like Y's in names..i think they look better
-Cassie--simply looks better
-Zoe--no dots or y...it looks the cutest and is the simplest.
i would pronounce it Bled-din|||I would go.....
Ann- it's my middle name and less letterrs to write
Steven- the ph makes me want to say "stef-on"
Elizabeth- the S looks like alissa and I hat ethat name
Keely- My name's Kelly and the spelling is the closest!
Katheryn-IDK, my eye just likes it
Sydney I've seen go both ways so you'd know it's female with the extra y.
Zoey- the other way everyones going to think you are a foreigner
The past teanse of Bleed and in.|||Anne
Stephen
Keeley
Elizabeth
Catherine
Cassie
Zoe
Sorry - I don't want to ruin the name (Bleddyn) for you if you like it - but to me - I would pronounce it like bledin - short e. But if you go with long e - bleedin' - it reminds me of the word bleeding but with the g dropped. So, for that reason I don't really like it. Hope that helps!|||Anne, Steven, Keely, Elizabeth, Katherine, Sydney, Cassie, Zoey
I would say these spellings because I think they are the "normal" spellings. I would go with those because it would save your child having to spell her name all the time and correct people. It could eventually lead her to not like his/her name.
Just my opinions. Good luck!
I would say Bled-In, is that a real name?|||Anne - it looks more balanced out
Stephen - more sophisticated
Keely - the other one has an excessive amount of e's
Elizabeth - the other spelling bothers me that I see Lisa
Catherine - I don't like names that start with K, (mine does)
Sydney - looks more feminine; Sidney for a guy
Cassie - again, I don't like K names
Zoey - it seems more balanced
Bleddyn (Bled-in)|||Anne
Steven (I don't care for the ph which should sound like f)
Keeley (everyone will only spell it that way anyway at least that is what they do with me my name is Kelly but ey is often added)
Elisabeth (cause it is different)
Katherine (my sisters name)
Sydney
Cassie
Zoe|||ok myiddle names ann so without the e lol
my brothers name is steven with v not ph
keeley is better
elizabeth
catherine think cathy
sydney is the place in NSW so sidney
cassie
zoe i've always wanted those little dots about a letter in my name
bled-di-en
eww its like bled and dying|||Anne.
Steven.

Bleddyn - I would say "bled - din"|||Anne
Stephen
Keeley
Elizabeth
Catherine
Sidney
Cassie

Keeley

Bleddyn (Bled-in)|||Anne
Steven (I don't care for the ph which should sound like f)

How do I mix our parents names to get a name for our baby?
Hi, I'm wondering if anyone can help me figure out how to mix our parents names to get a possible baby name. I also want to know if it's ok to use only one persons name or is it not fair to the other persons. Please help!
Maternal Side: Jamie Lee %26amp; Brian david
Paternal Side: Gordon Cecil %26amp; Jenna LarinHow do I mix our parents names to get a name for our baby?
i have all three of my kids named after mine and my husbands family. So I know where you are coming from. We chose our first names randomly, and the middle names in reference to family members. We ended up choosing:
Dylan James Garry (James and Garry are our fathers)
Kane Bradley Skeet (Bradley and Skeet are our Grandfathers)
Amali May Dawn (May and Dawn are our Grandmothers)
so here are some suggestions(for a girl):
* considering the fact both your mothers have the same initials you could respect them both by naming the baby J_____ L_____ (last name)
*____________ Jemma (or Jennie) (last name)
*Jamie Lara (last name)
*____________ Jenna-Lee (last name
*(I personally do not think Jenna Jamie flows well enough to put together in a name)
here are some suggestions for a boy:
*___________ David Gordon (last name)
* Brian ________ Gordon (last name)
* B__________ G_________ (last name)
It doesnt matter if you use either/or, but personally I would try to respect both sides of the family if i could.
Good luck, and I hope my suggestions help!!
the capital letters are what letters i took out from each name to make the possible name:
diana (jamIe+David+gordoN+jennA)
madeline (jAMie+David+cEcil+jeNna)
brenda (jAmiE+Brian+gorDoN+laRin)
raina (jAmie+briaN+goRdon+larIn)
lane (Lee+dAvid+cEcil+lariN)
micael (jaMie+brIAn+CEcil+Larin)
since i'm getting tire of the (), i'll just list the other choices and you can figure it out.

i think it will be unfair to leave someone out.How do I mix our parents names to get a name for our baby?
well, it could go 2 different ways!
Mixing and combining names together to make new names:
Jamie Lee + Jenna Larin= Janna Leanne (said JAN-nah) love it....!
Gordon Cecil +Brian David= Goran Deville (GORE-an DEH-vill) ewwww....
like that
-OR-
mixing existing names:
Jamie Larin (LOVE IT!!) or Jenna Lee ( also LOVE IT)
Gordon David (like it!!) or Cecil Brian (also like it!!)
or some thing like that.
---to answer your other question, yes it is ok. it wont be unfair. name this baby after one, and then the next after the other. that way all of the grandparents get used and it is totally fair!!
good luck! How do I mix our parents names to get a name for our baby?
Well, we were asked by the great grandfather to name our son if we ever had one after him... he has this horrible horrible middle name that I will never repeat hehe. Anyway I only gave it to my son as the middle name.. I said no way is he getting that as his first name.. My husbands whole family tried to pressure me into it even though his sister just had a boy last year and didn't name her kid that. Ugh!
If we have a girl ever we plan on doing her middle name my grandmothers middle name.. or if it's a boy we'll do MY grandfathers middle name as the babies middle name. Hope that makes sense.
The vikings have this old tradition that your child gets named after the last person who died, so as to carry their name on. I think thats nice.
Uhmm... I don't think it's disrespectful to use only one persons name, not at all.. maybe if its a boy your husbands family's name and if it's a girl.. your familys name? Afterall boys usually are named after their father or grandfather on the dads side and usually carry the fathers last name.
Good luck!
jaynan, brilee, jaydon, braydon, leena, leenon?
i know that probably wasn't much help and i'm sorry.
as for using one person's name, i think that would be fine, given it's your mother's name if it's a girl or your father in law's if it's a boy.
Jemma for a girl - combines both grandmas' first names
Brandon for a boy - combines both grandpas' first names

We are having another little girl! Our daughter's name is on the above list too. www.nymbler.com is a cool website. You type names you like and it generates names from similar "tastes".
Ours is Hannah June. We both loved Hannah (and it flows perfectly with June) and June was my husband's mother's name. She passed away when he was a teen.
We never did come up with a boys name. Anything I liked my husband hated and anything he liked i hated. We didn't even have any maybes so good thing she's going to be a girl lol.
If you guys are looking for names head over to http://www.babyzone.com it's a great site. They have a ton of tools, including baby names. You can look up names, meanings etc. You can open a poll to see what people think about the names you picked out. You can vote on other people's polls (which may help you get some ideas together). Can I steal the baby name you have planned for you child; boy and girl names?
why would you want to steal somone elses names?
wouldnt you want to name your own baby yourself?
not with the help of others.. seriously, its meant to be mean somthing to parents, its meant to be original, you shouldnt steal names of other people because you like them.. sure you can get ideas, but steal them, i dont think that is saying very much of you really caringCan I steal the baby name you have planned for you child; boy and girl names?
why dont you look on some baby name sites, there are thousands!, i am on my 3rd child an am stuck for boys names, i already have a JOSH and RYAN, and am swaying towards LOGAN for a boy and it will defo be AVA if we have a girl!!! good luck

I hope my future children make fun of your fake native american children.
you do realize i hope that those are not native names. then again...why woudl you care as long as your other non native friends think they are.
Please, please PLEASE I BEG YOU not to give your baby a native american name that you find in ANY baby book. If you want a name go to the website suggested above and pay for them to give you a name. Names are something pretty special. It is something to live up to or something to live down. And you don't want to have your child ridiculed because you thought you were naming them something wonderful like "pretty" and really name them after a venereal disease. And barring a native name I further beg you not to get "creative" in spelling or name any girl Mac-anything.
http://www.native-languages.org/wrongnam鈥?/a>
hopefully this site will scare you off using any of the names people here gave you.
If you give your child a Native name without knowing the meaning, the Nation (and dialect) and who gave you that name to use (since clearly you don't speak the language). Then your kid will be laughed at by us. As a kid by kids like mine who are real NDN's who are learning their language in their community, later as an adult by the rest of us.
Having Native ancestry you know little or nothing about does not make you NDN.
so tired of alleged 'natives' asking strangers for names.
ASK YOUR ELDERS.
If you don't have any, you are NOT Indian.
stared so other REAL skins can tell you the same thing

What baby names do you like the best?
Okay, so my aunt is having a baby, it's due in January.
She wants to keep it a surprise no matter what.
And she wanted me to help choose out baby names for her.
She likes the name Derrick Bradley and Kyle Jordan for a boy.
And for a girl she likes Daniella Marisol and Jessica Marie.
What do you think of these names?
And you can suggest some more if you like. :) Thank-you.What baby names do you like the best?
Out of the boys, I like Derrick Bradley
Out of the girls, I like Daniella Marisol
When picking out a baby name, you can't think of how cute the name is, but what it will look like in the future. For ex., If you choose a name like Brittany, look into the future, can you see yourself calling a 90 year-old woman Brittany? (haha, sorry for all the Brittany's!)
I love the names...
Girl- Theresa, Isabella, Mia, Annemarie, Grace
Boy- Jack, Thomas, James, Michael, Andrew
Hope I helped! And tell your aunt I said congrats! (:
What about Nathan, Adam, Ben, Ethan, Joshua and for a girl Alyssa, Olivia, Chloe or EdenWhat baby names do you like the best?
Derrick Bradley and Daniella Marisol !!!!What baby names do you like the best?
theyre all tooo common
Out of those...I like Kyle...but that's it.
Too boring for me, but Kyle would be my #1

I am looking for a list of Biblical Baby Names in other languages?
I am looking for a Biblical baby name but I am tired of the popularity of many Biblical names in the English form. Does anyone know of a website where I can find Biblical Baby Names in other languages?I am looking for a list of Biblical Baby Names in other languages?
the Biblical names are Hebrew, so:
http://www.babynameworld.com/biblical.as鈥?/a>
http://www.learn-hebrew-names.com/Hebrew鈥?/a>
http://www.babynameguide.com/categoryheb鈥?/a>

I suggest you check the link first for a pretty comprehensive list on Biblical names. It includes the obvious ones (Mary, Sarah, John, David etc...), but also tons of attractive Biblical names that aren't commonly in use nowadays. I'm sure there a lots you haven't thought about yet. That said I think you ought to look up for expample the French and Italian forms of common biblical names.
Here are a few examples of standard Bible names in other languages.
John %26gt; Jean, Giovanni, Ivan, Johan, Juan
Luke %26gt; Luc, Luca, Lucas
Matthew %26gt; Mathis, Mads, Mateo, Matvey
Michael %26gt; Michel, Miguel, Mihail

To follow your reasoning I have the perfect answer.
Just call the baby "Apple" as that features prominently in what ever bible you care to read.
Your baby is one of millions that are born each and every year and your quest tio somehow individualise this kid through outlandish names is futile.
Get real and cocentrate on becoming normal and good parents.
Yours sincerely

Why are people so judge mental on baby names?
Why do people have to be so judgemental about baby names? Why are people so judge mental on baby names?
Because everyone is entitled to their opinion. And they're entitled to express it here, as long as they're not being profane or smutty or racist.
It's just as judgmental to LIKE a name, you know. But that doesn't bother you, for some reason.
So YOU are being judgmental of the people with negative opinions. Who are you to judge their opinions?
When someone posts the question, "What are your opinions on these names" or "Do you like these names", of course people are going to respond with their feelings.
There are many names I have expressed dislike for, but if I met a child with that name, I wouldn't be judgemental of the parents or child.
When I dislike a name on here, it's got nothing to do with people with the name, it's the fact that I personally dislike the name and wouldn't use it for one of my children.
Opinions will always differ from person to person. Why are people so judge mental on baby names?
People are judgmental by nature. Whether or not you can help it, you're always judging everything in your head. Everybody has different tastes in names, so of course they're going to have an opinion on a name, whether positive or negative.
Of course, there's a difference between being judgmental and flat out rude, BUT many people figure, if you ask a question be prepared to deal with the negative comments and opinions. Why are people so judge mental on baby names?
I think people are judgemental about baby names because there are some odd names for kids lately, and people don't think about the child having this name for the rest of their life. My mom always said that if you go to the back door and yell the kids name a few times, that will let you know if it is a good name for a child.
Because their trying to be that person to stick up for the unborn child, and try to prevent them being stuck with the bad name!
When I have a more negative opinion on someone's baby name, I feel bad for the child and I try to give them reasons as to why that name is a bad decision!
These are human beings were naming, and some people want to be so creative and unique that they forget that a person has to go through life with that name
If people ask what they think of this baby name I'm going to give my opinion and If I hate the name I'm going to say that I hate it. I really don't care what someone names their kid. It's not being judge mental its giving someone my opinion like they asked if you don't someone to judge it don't ask simple :D
People are judgmental because you are naming a human being, and some names are absolutely ridiculous. My friend's cousin named her son Hazard. Are you telling me that you wouldn't be judgmental over a name like that? And names with "you-neek" spellings such as Mahckynzye or Allyssibithe are NOT cute, they're just going to make life difficult for your child always having to spell out their names for people, and some of them (like Allyssibithe) will likely have a hard time knowing how to spell their names by the time school starts. Other names like Spike or Rex are often suited more for a dog than a human being. So many people these days are trying way too hard to give their kids weird names, not thinking that their child will be unique regardless if he or she is one of many in their class. A name doesn't make you unique, something that many parents these days don't seem to understand.
People are judgmental about everything. Plus, this is an anonymous public forum. People come here to get straight forward and honest opinions about names. If you are super attached to a name and don't want to hear any criticisms about it then don't come on here to ask what a bunch of complete strangers think. If an opinion is being asked for people will give it even if it's not what you want to hear so if you don't want to hear it then don't ask.
Judgmental links into honesty. And honestly if the focal-point of this forum! It's why so many people post on here when they could have just asked their family or friends - they (subconsciously) seek honesty and that is often not something one will receive from parents and friends since they're far more likely to sugarcoat in order to spare hurt feelings.
I personally don't like it when I'm told that my names aren't being well-received by some - but if they give valid explanations instead of just "I DUN LIKE IT! GROSS!" - then I sometimes reevaluate my opinion. And that's a good thing because, if you don't get reasoning's, or any judgment at all in some cases, then there will most likely be problems.
For example; a woman had twin girls and posted on this forum. Apparently she refused to listen to any sugarcoated opinions, had the twins, and named them Vagena and Vamajesty. No joke. And she regretted it seven months later after all the stick she had been getting. THAT is why people need serious answers!
People are not judgemental, they're just honest. If someone doesn't like the name you have picked out for a baby/book character/whatever, they will tell you, because at most it will be affecting another person for their entire lives.
You ask for opinions and we give them. Would you rather get an honest answer or have us all sucking up to you? (not "you" directly)
I have no idea. Seriously, let people name their kids what they want to, and stay out of it. It's not going to affect your life any. So please stop.
I'm not sure, but it's sad that people worry more what others will think of their baby names. We want everyone to like the name we pick.
I completely agree!
If they don't like it, they want to fire off with some smart comment, making them look bad!!
God bless! : )
Everyone is entitled to an opinion.
because some are aweful and some are really cute, but i dont get that syked about them lol.
