I like this particular site because it not only lists names from the United States, but names of International origin, such as Egyptian, Persian, or Scandinavian, and names in unique categories, like Biblical or even Shakespearean. (like intelligence, motherly, daughterly..etc.) It is very reliable and gives the popularity of the name going back sometimes to the 1700s. They don't have any made up crap, the meanings %26amp; origins are most accurate.
ssa.gov/oact/babynames has the 1000 most popular baby names for each year from 1880 - 2009, so you can find some more common names without anything too weird or having too many names in front of you!|||I had the same problem when naming my third child!
