What are some European cities that would be nice as baby names?

I am trying to think of baby names for boy or girl. I like the idea of cities that can be names like Paris, Sienna, Venice etc. I would love some more ideas of nice sounding cities or maybe a link if there is a website that has a list? Thank you : )What are some European cities that would be nice as baby names?
-- Athena [from Athens, Greece]

-- Odessa [Ukraine]

-- Florence [Italy]

-- Lisbon [Portugal]

-- Milan [Italy]

-- Sofia [Bulgaria]

-- Bradford [UK]

-- Monte [from Monte Carlo, Monaco]

-- Tallinn [Estonia]

-- Roma [Italy]

-- Lille [Belgium]

-- Dresden [Germany]

-- Genoa [Italy]

-- Oslo [Norway]

-- Bristol [UK]

-- Vienna [Austria]

One of my friends, Michael, has a sister named Jenoah, pronounced like Genoa. I think it's pretty!

I think the names Lisbon [f], Sofia [f], and Dresden [m] would sound nice as a sibling set.
I would avoid doing this.

Have you been to any cities in Europe? If so, consider the ones you've visited - city names almost never make good people names, unless they were the names of people first. Paris, however, is an example of this. Except Paris was a GUY.

If you haven't been to Europe, why would you name your child after a place you've never seen or visited? You might know nothing about the city other than what you've seen on the internet.

Also - I doubt that anyone in Paris is going to be naming their kiddo Chicago or Des Moines; it doesn't seem to make sense for us to do it.What are some European cities that would be nice as baby names?
Bergen ( Norwegian)

Bristol (city in south-western England)

Eger (located in northern Hungary)

Florence (Italy)

Geneva (Switzerland)

Girona (located in Spain)

Milan(Italy often pronounced Milano)

Devona (Old English, from the county of Devon)

Lourdes (From the pilgrimage town in southern France)

Siena (Italian, A city in Tuscany)

Kerry (The dark one. Also the name of an Irish county, Irish Gaelic)

Shannon (From the name of the Shannon River, the longest river in Ireland. )

Hope this helps :)What are some European cities that would be nice as baby names?
