Did you share your baby names with others before the baby was born?

I am almost 15 weeks with twins, everyone keeps asking me what baby names I am thinking of. I don't know why, but am hesitant to tell people.

Did others share or make it a surprise!?Did you share your baby names with others before the baby was born?
I'm not a mommy, but my sister never shared my nephew's name. Of course, it drove everyone crazy, but looking back, I think keeping the name to yourself is better. That way, nobody can give their opinion because it's not their choice, it's you and your husband's. And once you name your baby, it can't be changed so they can't say anything then either! I think it's just easier to keep the name to yourself, being a new mom, you have a lot of new things to get used to, that you don't need extra stress on the part that should be fun for you :)
When I was pregnant with my first daughter I shared the name with my family but then it went wrong when a close cousin of mine named her daughter almost the exact same name when she had her baby girl two weeks after mine. After that I only share the name on this site to get opinions and with my husband and children.Did you share your baby names with others before the baby was born?
I haven't been pregnant yet, but I think I'd like to keep the names to myself (and my husband), although I share them with strangers on Y!A to hear other opinions. Most of the names I like are not very common or well known, and I would expect a lot of odd glances from my friends and family. LOLDid you share your baby names with others before the baby was born?
I had twin boys on July 4th, and we had just told our family and close friends the names we had chosen Carter Grant and Tanner Brynn, but when I had them I changed my mind and went with Sawyer Brynn %26amp; Greyson Dean.
I've never been pregnant, but when I am, I don't plan on telling people. I wouldn't because they might try to persuade you to not use the names you love.
So far we have only shared our twins' names with my mother and my husbands mother. For everyone else, they will be a surprise! :)
