Lately I have been picking out baby boy and baby girl names. Is this normal even if you are not/going to become pregnant anytime soon?Is it normal to pick out baby names even if your 15?
A lot of people (esp girls and women) think about things like future spouses, weddings, and babies when those things aren't happening anytime soon.
You will definitely change your mind though so don't spend too much time thinking about it now if you can help it. I wouldn't have even considered the names we chose for our kids when I was 15.
Yep totally normal!
I looove picking out baby names...it's fun...and it will make it easier as you get older..
In 6th grade I even checked out a baby names book from the library because I wanted to see what the meaning of different names were..it's kinda cool to look up your name and your friends! :P
edit--
it's like when you were younger and named your barbies and such...it's the same thing. lolIs it normal to pick out baby names even if your 15?
Of course, it's normal. (To me at least)
When I was 5 I remember always saying "I love the boys names Ryan, Brandon, Matthew, and Kenneth!)
Then I went through a stage where I liked the names Colton, Colin, Connor, and Coston.
Now, I like the names Phoenix Forrest Carter and Skyler Griffin Cole. I even like girls names :]
It's all normal. Don't worry.
Many people probably make fun of you or think it is weird that you have an interest in baby names....I say "Piss on 'em".Is it normal to pick out baby names even if your 15?
Yes it's normal, I've been picking out baby names since I was 3, well I had a boy name picked out then, I had a girl name ready since I was about 5 lol.
I used the boy name for my 2nd oldest son, and I am using the girl name for my daughter who is due March 1st.
:D
Yup it is!
I've decided them already xD and I'm 16 just so taht you know!
And I was talking about5 that with my friends and they also considered a few!
I think its not really important to be pregnant, because when you're pregnant, you have way to much to think about then just a name !
of course its normal! ALL GIRLS DO IT!! i believe its just a female thing that we do. I had names picked out since i was like 9!! Of course they werent anything i would use NOW...they werent ugly but they're not my style anymore. At least in another 5 or so years ( or whenever you plan on having kids) You'll be prepared! lol
Yes it is. Me and my friends all have our names and lives planned out.
I am going to be a politician have 6-8 kids 3 girls 3 boys or 4 boys 4 girls
The names are:
If 6
Savannah
Dakota
Indiana
Gregory
James
Cooper
Or If 8
Savannah
Dakota
Indiana
Isabella
Gregory
James
Cooper
Robert
Yeah it definitely is. I do too and I am about the same age. It's perfectly normal for girls and women of all ages. I already know what I'm naming my children when I do decide to have them,..not anytime soon.
Yeah. I started picking out names when I was five and was telling people I wanted to be a mommy by age 3, Lol. I remember that the first name I liked was Becca Bonnie after my cousins (haha, I was so young so don't judge)
Sure. Plenty of people are interested in baby names.
Yeah i'm14 and a guy and right this second im searching baby names.
So far I got 7 boy names and 6 girl names. :)
So yeah it's normal.
As long as your not gettin pregnant anytime soon. (: haha
yeah i did it as far back as i can remember..now my little sisters do it. my 3 year old sister says shes going to name her first baby snowball, lol.
Well, yeah. I'm fifteen as well and I've been frequenting the Baby Names board for a while.
Meh I've done it, I'm certainly not looking to have children any time soon and I'm 17.
I pick out baby names and I'm 13. So no.
Yeah, that's normal.I can remember when i was 9 picking baby names.
I would think so. It's like a five-year-old girl picking out her wedding dress.
Of course. Even little girls do, it's quite normal. It's a girl thing I guess!
I don't think there's anything wrong with it. You're thinking ahead. Lots of people do it.
I'm 15! I do it! :)
It's harmless, maybe you just have an interest in names.
